At Marrow Detroit Provisions, we believe good food starts with good sourcing—and this Beef Bacon Burger Patty Melt is no exception. Built with our chef-tested, locally sourced ground beef and a serious nod to diner-style comfort, this sandwich is a little indulgent, a lot satisfying, and totally doable at home. Cody, our Director of Retail Sales and Production, whipped this one up as the ultimate comfort food with a Marrow twist.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12oz) package of Marrow Detroit Provisions’ Beef Bacon Burger

  • 1 (8oz) package of Marrow Detroit Provisions Beef Bacon

  • 4 slices of marbled rye bread (or your favorite sliced bread)

  • 1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced

  • Pickles to preference

  • 2 tablespoons Thousand Island or Russian Dressing

  • Ketchup / Mustard Optional


Directions

Marrow Detroit Provisions - Beef Bacon Patty Melt

  • Cook Beef Bacon on medium heat in a cast iron skillet until crisp. Eat a piece while

    cooking the rest, you only live once right.

  • In the same pan cook the sliced onion on medium heat stirring occasionally until

    browned and beautifully caramelized.

  • Cook burgers on medium heat in the same skillet until desired internal temperature

  • Add 2 slices of American cheese to each burger

  • Toast bread in the toaster until browned

  • Spread special sauce on all slices of toast and cover the special sauce with your

    preferred amount of pickles

  • Top toasted bread with burger, caramelized onion, beef bacon

  • Enjoy with your preferred beverage, eat both burgers if it’s been a long week.
